The First Response Emergency Care [FREC] courses lie on the Regulated Qualification Framework, with the awarding body being Qualsafe our participating training providers are able to offer Levels 3 and 4, with courses being run over five days.
The FREC suite can be used as a step toward Paramedic Training via FREC 5 and 6, FREC is fast becoming the expected standard for those working in or hoping to work in the event medical sector.

Award in Emergency First Response Level 3 RQF
The QA Level 3 Award for Emergency First Responders (RQF) qualification can be used as a stepping-stone to progression on the QA Level 3 Certificate in First Response Emergency Care (QCF), which will provide Learner’s with further knowledge and skills to deal with a broader range of emergency incidents. This qualification also offers those achieving it greater opportunities to progress their career into other areas of prehospital emergency care, such as the ambulance service. Furthermore the qualification can be used a stepping-stone in an individual’s career and may lead to various employment opportunities in a range of different healthcare settings.
Award in Administering Emergency Medical Gases Level 3(RQF)
The QA Level 3 Award in Administering Emergency Medical Gases (RQF) has been specifically designed for those who have a responsibility for providing treatment to patients who need medical gases administrating in Prehospital care environments, such as: those working in the police force, fire service or private ambulance sector.
First Response Emergency Care Level 3 RQF [FREC 3]
This qualification is for people who have a specific responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities, to provide prehospital care to patients requiring emergency care/treatment.

The QA Level 4 Certificate in First Response Emergency Care (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised Prehospital care qualification specifically designed for those looking to progress their career within the NHS or private ambulance services as an emergency care assistant, intermediate ambulance practitioner, event medical provider, associate practitioner or healthcare assistant. It is also ideal for those who are looking to work within specialist roles in the military, police and fire services.

This qualification is for people who have a specific responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities, to provide emergency care to patients requiring emergency and urgent care/treatment. This qualification is relevant to those working as event medical providers, emergency ambulance personnel, registered healthcare professionals and those in specialist roles within the emergency services and military.
